A vibrant tribute to the multifaceted nature of the feminine spirit, expressed through the rhythmic layering of varied paper strips.
"The Woman in Colors" is a celebration of diversity, emotion, and life. This artwork captures a serene profile that blooms into an explosion of spectral hues, symbolizing the thoughts, dreams, and vibrant energy that define the human essence. It is a visual journey through the colors of the soul.
The Engineering of the Strip
This 60×60 cm masterpiece is a technical exploration of depth and shadow. By utilizing three distinct widths of paper strips—0.7 cm, 1cm, and 1.5 cm—I have created a high-relief landscape where the height of the paper itself dictates the intensity of the composition.
- Topographical Depth: The use of varied strip widths (0.7:1.5cm) creates a "step" effect, allowing some colors to stand out prominently while others recede, mimicking the natural contours of thought and movement.
- Fluid Motion: Every strip is hand-curved and placed on-edge to create a sense of flowing hair that dissolves into a rainbow of abstract forms.
- Solo Craftsmanship: Each element is meticulously placed by hand, ensuring that the transitions between the 0.7cm and 1.5cm strips are seamless and visually striking.

Care & Longevity
- Shadow Box Protection: To protect the varying heights of the paper strips (up to 1.5cm), the artwork is housed in a deep professional shadow box frame, ensuring it remains a pristine collector's item.
- Preserving the Spectrum: To maintain the brilliance of the many colors used, avoid hanging the piece in direct, harsh sunlight.
- The Play of Shadows: This piece is highly reactive to light. Under directional gallery lighting, the different strip heights (0.7, 1, 1.5\text{ cm}) cast unique shadows, giving the portrait a dynamic, ever-changing appearance.
